Ginger Planting ジンジャー栽培

Today was our first ginger planting. Our students learned about different tools and how to use them. Being in nature and learning about food is important for a healthy life. We hope that our children will learn about care and patience. Care - because planting needs maintenance. Patience - because results do not come overnight.

During this experience, thanks to the farm owner, we learned about different local insects. We learned which ones are harmful and which ones are not. The children were very good at using the farm tools and helping each other in the process.

今日は私たちの初めての生姜の植え付けでした。生徒たちはさまざまな道具とその使い方について学びました。自然の中で食べ物について学ぶことは、健康的な生活にとって重要です。子どもたちには思いやりと忍耐を学んでほしいと願っています。思いやりとは、植え付けには手入れが必要だからです。忍耐とは、結果がすぐには現れないからです。

この体験の中で、農場の方のおかげで地元のさまざまな昆虫についても学びました。どの昆虫が害があり、どの昆虫がそうでないかを知ることができました。子どもたちは農具の使い方がとても上手で、互いに助け合いながら作業を進めていました。
